I was born to an Italian immigrant family on Staten Island in New York City. I still have no idea how my parents managed to raise three children in the middle of the greatest city on an EMT and teacher’s salary. They are the best parents I could have ever asked to have, and have raised me to value life and everything in it. They also taught me the importance of helping others around me. The quickest way to succeed is to help others. Truer words have never been spoken. It’s my desire to help as many people as I can through my website by reaching out through the Internet to touch as many people’s minds as I can to provoke thought, provide laughter, and hopefully make the world that much better.
I am EXTREMELY proud of the team working on Virtual World Framework as the product provides for state parameter synchronization of web data in any format allowing for a deterministic shared and persistent 2D and 3D environment within a browser! It’s really exciting technology and I welcome you to check it out.
I honed my education around my talent for software engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where I received a Masters in Software Engineering and a Bachelors in Computer Science. Go Eagles! I also attended Steven’s Institute of Technology for part of my bachelor’s degree in Hoboken, New Jersey. However, when 9/11 occurred my resolve to help prevent future attacks using my talents and skills brought me to ERAU to complete my degrees and focus on aviation and defense technologies.
I am a strong supporter of Project Lead the Way to sponsor Science Technology Engineering and Math in our schools, United Way, and I believe in equality for everyone. In regards to my work for diversity and inclusion, I serve as the Vice Chair of Lockheed Martin’s Mission System and Training PRIDE Employee Resource Group, and I serve on the Board of Directors for the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida.
